They can get fleas but not lice. A dog's body temp and blood isn't right for human lice.

they can get lice but not freom a human. They eat different stuff.
I think so. Anything with long hair can get lice. Humans do, except for the bald people.
Hi the simple aswer to that is yes along with fleas %26 ticks.always use a vet to treat these things as the prescription stuff a vet will give you is better than pet store treatments as they are much weaker than those from a vet.Regards Jake
If you get lice, you should treat your dog the same way as you treat your family.
The lice CAN stay on the dog, so if you don't treat your dog for lice, and you start playing with the dog again, it is possible to reinfect yourself.
Logic, my dear Watson, logic.

However, in most cases, lice that you can get, and lice that your pet can get, are totally different..

Basically, I'm saying, don't be too careful, especially when dealing with things like lice.

For more information about lice, in general, check out the links I've provided.
no but they can get fleas
Dogs can get lice, but lice are species specific. That means that dog lice cannot live on people, and people lice cannot live on dogs. You don't have to treat your dog if you have lice, and vice versa.

Lice are totally different than fleas.
