Boxer weight question?

I have a 5 1/2 month old boxer female, She is ideal weight (not skinny or over weight) Her parents weighed 80 and 95 pounds. They were huge boxers. And her at 5 1/2 months old only weights 25 pounds. She is the size of a 15 inch beagle. Is she going to mature a small boxer or is this common for them to be so small at that age? Will she grow more?
Answers:
Actually the optimal weight for a female boxer is between 45 and 65#.height 21-22" at the whithers.
At 5.5 months old she has til about 1yr old to stop growing in height and 2 yrs before she will completely fill ot. 25# is not bad at all.boxers are genetically prone to hip and knee problems so the smaller she remains the better she will be.
At 5 1/2 she is a bit small. I would not expect her to be large, although she will get bigger.
WOW!! I am by no means a Boxer person, but that seems REALLY small. Hope those really WERE her parents.
I guess maybe she could just be small. Maybe she will have a growth spurt, but it just doesn't seem that likely.
I'm not 100% able to answer your question. I have a boxer though, who will be a year old in April. When he was younger (And still to this date) people have always asked if we feed him. Boxer's are just full of energy when they are young and are prone to look skinny because of all the moving, jumping, running, fetching, licking, wiggeling, they do. My guess would be that as she ages she will gain weight, and of course she will grow more! Enjoy the Boxer!
she will grow, bigger dogs grow for 2 years dont trip
