Boston terrier reproduction confusion?

Okay, how long is it before a boston terrier will be to old to breed? mine is 6 years old, and i still want to breed her, but i dont know if shes too old! Any help or sites will be a big help.
Answers:
Six years old is not to old. 8 years old would be the age I would not even consider breeding at. But, if she has never had a litter I would not. Get a new Boston Terrier. She could eaily die since Bostons have small pelvies.
I have two female boston terriers, they are sisters they would have made wonderful pups but we spayed them.
Most people say you should not add to the dog pouplulation. If you bred her and take extra good care of the pups I don't see a problem. Though there are many homeless dogs..
Good luck, boston's are GREAT dogs.
Hoped this helped!!
6 years old is not that old for breeding a dog..but you have to look at the whole problem.look at how many homeless dogs are in shelters everyday..and on top of that I would get her spayed before she develops mamory cancer or uterous Cancer.

Good Luck
6 years old is too old for a first litter. Please don't attempt a breeding from your **. The breeding of any dog is a complicated process best left to those with a real passion for the breed. Boston terriers are even more so, because of their big heads and narrow pelvises.
6 years old is the cut off age for me when breeding my dogs. I may breed them if they just tirned 6, but not if they are 6 1/2 or close to 7. Has she ever had pups before? If not, why did you wait so long to breed her?
It's not the age that matters, it's how many times they've been bred that matters. See, the puppy fetus attaches to the wall of the uterus and leave behind scar tissue. The more litters a dog has, basically the puppies have nowhere to attach. This means that their litters will get smaller and smaller, and, of course, it's harder on the dog each time she whelps. If your dog hasn't been bred or overbred, you should be fine. But if you decide not to breed her please have her spayed, older dogs are at very high risks for pyometra. Good luck!
I would not breed a ** for the first time at 6, too risky for me. If she has been bred before I would if she were in top physical condition, otherwise no.
I think that 6 is too old for a first litter, especially for a breed like Bostons that often require c-sections.
