Sorry, just looked a the category.you are talking about dogs. they can mate but you will be risking multiple deformities. If they have a genetic trait that is weak and they mate with a relative the chances of the weak trait becoming dominate is upped. They will be at a greater risk for many things, that is why so many dogs that are purebred have genetic problems when most mutts do not.

If you've a b.i.t.c.h you want to breed, do the right thing and take her to a stud service that'll give her a healthy, unrelated male dog to mate with. Same for a male dog - don't breed him with his sister!
