What is the best chew thing for adult dogs? Something that they like to chew on a lot. I think that this is the best way to keep their teeth clean and healthy. They seem to like chewing on the braided beef sticks at Trader Joe's but I was wondering if there is something else they would enjoy even more. The Greenies are good but one dog devours it in a minute and I dont think the wheat gluten they are made of is very good for them. Thanks in advance.

DONT NOT USE RAW HIDE..when they take a drink of water the raw hide will swell could cause death..cow hooves or pigs ears are the best.i had a big dog so i used cow hooves

There's a deal called a "Kong." It's red rubber, very hard and dogs go wild for it. It will bounce all kinds of directions if you throw it on concrete, and they will chase it and chew it 'till the cows come home. It's also hollow, so you can fill it with peanut butter, and then they REALLY go wild.
A bone they love them and also they chew on it for ages,depending on the size of your dog of course get the butcher to cut it, but dont get the doggie bones, ask for a good size bone and if your dog is a smaller one get them to slice it in half
Have you ever seen Kongs before? They're like black sort of round things that even my dog, who chews up his toys in like 5 minutes, still has to work on breaking apart.

I like to use the kong with the kong stuffing. i also like the rubber bones with the little nubs on.doesn't chew up easy and bounces when you throw it and is easy to clean off. if you're looking to get breath and teeth results use a toothbrush with a pea sized bit of toothpaste.
Anything that doesn't have stuffing in it. My sister's rotti had to have 10 inches of his intestines removed because he got the stuffing of a bear lodged in his intestines. She ended up paying $4000 for the operation.

Kongs! All three of my dogs love their kongs. You can put solid treats in it as well as the kong treat (comes in a squirt can like squirt cheese) or my dogs' favorite, peanut butter. It keeps them busy for hours and they come in large and small sizes. The slats in the toys keep their teeth clean.

The bully sticks are great, they natural and last longer than most rawhide. They are also easy to digest so you do not have to worry about stomach blockage like you do with rawhide. There are also the different animal tendons that are better or healthier than the rawhide. My dogs will no longer eat rawhide he prefers the tendons and bull sticks.
